"Next" marks the consequent next step for Alarmen after his first full-time album on audiophob which was released three years ago. What starts with the minimal rhythmic and almost sterile sounds of the first track soon develops into either claustrophic scraping Dark Ambient or into quite catchy electronica melodies.
Track names - which reflected the barely existing information of SPAM mails on "There Is No Place Like Hoan" (auphcd005) - are abandoned on this album. The sounds might speak for themselves ...
